Why Choose Mediatrack Research
Selecting a Media Evaluation Consultancy
Selecting a supplier need not be daunting. The following points may prove helpful:
Examine the type of analysis proposed and the processes involved. Establish
who will be carrying out the research and whether they have worked on similar projects
before. Request examples of charts, reports and data. Can client references
be provided?
Timeliness. Make sure that any outputs are delivered to a testing
deadline that makes it possible to react to the findings of the report. If the delay
between the report dates and delivery is too long the report serves only as a historic
document.
Methodology. It is absolutely essential that the methodology is
straightforward and easily understood quickly by the many audiences that will access
it. Remember the more complicated the system the less relevance it may have.
Ask about quality controls. Good evaluation relies on good
measurement. Are stringent quality controls in place to guarantee the
accuracy of the data? Is the
AMEC code of practice adhered to?
Look at how the company presents its findings. Will the report
style offered meet your changing requirements? Are a range of alternative
options available which can be tailored to your needs?
Price is important. But if you receive several widely differing
quotations it is likely that different levels of service or analysis are being proposed.
It will be useful to prepare a brief which clearly sets out your objectives and
expectations.
Meet the team. Find out who will be dedicated to looking after
your account and their level of expertise. Ask to meet the account team at
an early stage in proceedings.
Strategic advice. Can the company provide strategic support
and advice, as well as delivering media evaluation? Are there add-on services
which you might find useful in the future?
