Ground-breaking research into Corporate Communications
Nearly 100 Directors of Communications from leading FTSE 350 organisations including BP, GlaxoSmithKline, PwC, Hammerson and Rolls Royce are taking part in a pioneering study into corporate communications.
The Business Leaders in Communications Study 2012 (BLCS 2012) will provide the most comprehensive overview of the structure and role of corporate communications today.
The study was conceived and designed by Mediatrack and is sponsored by VMA Group, the international resourcing specialist for corporate communications.
David Bickerton, Director of Communications at BP, is supporting the study and says: “BLCS 2012 will be game-changing for the profession. For too long corporate communications professionals have sat at the boardroom table with little hard data to evidence their function. This research will at long last provide senior corporate communicators with credible data that will help develop their function and position in the boardroom.”
The study will enable senior corporate communicators to:
- Benchmark the size and structure of their communications teams – both internal and external
- Compare budgets and span control against other organisations relative to size and complexity
- Optimise their department’s performance and the value it delivers to their business
- Gain insight into the attitudes of other boards as to the role of corporate communications
- Understand the priorities of other senior communicators in today’s challenging environment.
Participating companies will receive a copy of the report plus bespoke research data for their organisation compared to anonymised benchmarks derived from other participants and be invited to the research launch panel event on January 24th – all for just £498. Non-participants will be able to purchase the research and attend the launch event for £750.
